Part Number:DRV8702-Q1
I met a question about drv8702-q1. when the temperature<0 degree C (especially happen when T=-40 degree C)and VM=16V (only happen at this condition), something we don’t know will trig the fault, and MOSFET will shut down. After 3ms, everything will become fine. This fault report happens random, customer want to know what may cause this fault. Hope you could give some suggestion.(DRV8702 doesn’t have register to tell the fault type)
Below is the instant moment of fault, it shows the high-side MOSFET want to open, but fault happen then the FET was shut down (in 4 us). The second picture shows the fault will retry after 3ms. They have excluded the reason that caused by noise.
1.fault 2. Low-side MOS gate 3. High side MOS gate
