DRV8701 Supply AVDD/DVDD from external without supply voltage VM

Dear Support Team,

i have a new design with your DRV8701. I will supply a microcontroller from the DVDD source. For initial programming of the microcontroller, i need a 3.3V source, which i could source from my flasher tool. The DRV8701 will not be supplied on it's VM pin, only the DVDD pin and some signal pins will get a voltage from about 3.3V. Is this possible with this driver without getting damaged? And will the driver draw current in this pin, for it's own logic?
