Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP8278Q-Q1
Hi team,
My customer is currently using the AD8208 for high-side current sensing and feeding its output into a 5V microcontroller. However, they are planning to switch to a 3.3V microcontroller, and are therefore considering a current sense amplifier with a gain of 14V/V.
Based on my investigation, most current sense amplifiers with a gain of 14V/V(such as the INA270 or LMP8278Q-Q1)are older devices and tend to be relatively expensive. If you have any recommended devices with adjustable gain that could meet these requirements, I would appreciate your suggestions.
Below is a summary of the application specifications:
Application OverviewPurpose: High-side current sensing for a solenoid
Current sensing range: 0–2A (unidirectional)
Output voltage range: 0–3.3V
Shunt resistor: 100mOhm (tentative)
Amplifier supply voltage: 5V or 12V
Best regards,
Kyohei
