MCF8316AEVM: Questions about using Motor Parameter Extraction Tool (MPET)

My customer want to use this MCF8316C EVM to implement the "Motor Parameter Extraction Tool (MPET) to measure the resistance, inductance, and back EMF constant of a color wheel (with a DC Brushless Motor).
The settings are configured according to the instructions in section 3.1.2 "Motor Parameter Extraction Tool Measurements" from the link:https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slla661/slla661.pdf?ts=1759971093691&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fsitesearch%252Fen-us%252Fdocs%252Funiversalsearch.tsp%253FlangPref%253Den-US%2526nr%253D1%2526searchTerm%253DSLLA661
After pressing "Run MPET," the logs display seems to be stuck at the processing progress position and the motor did not spin.

Can you please suggest how to do next to avoid this error?
