DRV10970: Current Sensing and Control with DRV10970 and INA236A

I'm working on a motor control project and have a question regarding current sensing and control with the DRV10970 and INA236A.

Previously, I successfully implemented current control using the DRV8306, CSD87333 (External MOSFETs), and an external current sensor, the INA236A.

My question is whether it's possible to perform a similar current control using the DRV10970, which has integrated MOSFETs. Specifically, can I connect the INA236A across the current-limiting resistor on the CS pin of the DRV10970 to measure and control the motor current?

(I have looked at the internal diagram, but I'm curious if it can be implemented in the same way.)

Any guidance or information on this would be greatly appreciated.
