DRV8308: DRV8308 driver

Dear TI Support Team,

I am using the DRV8308 driver with the MFA0500 high-speed blower (by Airfan). I have successfully verified that the motor operates correctly in open-loop mode using the DRV8308. However, I am facing issues while trying to run the motor in closed-loop control mode.

Motor: MFA0500 Blower

• Rated voltage: 24 VDC

• Typical Speed: ~75,000 RPM

• Hall sensor: 3 digital Hall sensors (0–5V logic), spaced 120°, working properly

• MFA0500 has one pole pair

• Check our current register values.

• Identify any incorrect or missing settings for closed-loop mode.

• Suggest corrections to get closed-loop control working for your MFA0500 motor.
