Tool/software:
Hello,
we are using the DRV3256A-Q1 in an application, where an e-machines is only used as generator. As soon as the e-machine is not requested to generate voltage, the 48 V supply is cut. At some conditions also the 12 V supply will be cut. Since the e-machine is connected to the ICE-shaft, it will be turned, while the inverter & drivers remain in inactive mode. During this period a voltage is generated on the DC-Link, which is connected to DHCP. This leads to a "Active Short Circuit response under unpowered condition" (low side active short) via the VGLx pull up.
Is there any limitation concerning lifetime if this is a more regular event and not just a limited event like towing or moving a vehicle with gear still engaged?
Thanks!
