MCT8316Z: The DIR pin does not work while the chip is awake

Tool/software:

While the integrated circuit is awake, when changing direction, the BRAKE pin is first enabled to stop the motor and then the DIR state is changed, but the motor starts in the same direction.

Only after it has entered SLEEP mode is it possible to change direction.

*The PWM being used has a frequency of 10 KHz.
