1. Is there any difference between the online and offline diagnostic logic of DRV8718? Is the leakage current also around 3mA during online diagnosis? Can this current source not be turned off?
2. The offline diagnosis in the attachment is for the full bridge and only the pull-up current source of PMOS and the pull-down current source of NMOS are turned on. The faults are only single open circuit/short circuit to ground/short circuit to power supply. If the full bridge needs to detect several faults at the same time, do we need to configure the pull-up and pull-down current sources of PMOS and NMOS?
3. If the output of DRV8718 is only used for HSD, how should offline diagnosis be done? Is it only necessary to configure a pull-up current source or a pull-down current source?
4. After the customer's board is powered on, the port output of DRV8718 is not enabled (the ports are also open and not connected to any load). The measured HSD port voltage is 5V when the circuit is open, not PVDD=12V. Could you help analyze this?
Thanks!
Raymond
