Hello Ti forum,
Some questions regarding MCT8316ZR motor driver:
1. How to use MCT8316ZR with open drain digital hall sensors? Can you help me understand?
at 8.3.2 DS states HNx pins should be left floating:

but at 9.2.2 is mentioned Hnx should be biased

2. In case hall sensors are powered by a 5V rail, is this a problem for the HPx pins? or is 3.3V a must as max high input voltage from hall sensors? Some hints are given by this statement, but still I need to understand:

3. For the MCT8316ZR specifically, pin 24 is NC, and recommendation is to leave it open, are there any internal circuits connected to this pin? Will be the IC affected if this pin gets shorted to adjacent 25 pin?
