DRV8231: Overheating driver + wrong output shape

I implemented this IC to drive a 12V brush motor with the following settings : 

Vref= 1.5V

Fpwm = 100kHz

VM =24V

Rsense = 0.15Ohms

I want to use it in slow decay mode, but I noticed that the IC was overheating (over 100°C) and that the shape of the output was far from clean.

Would you be able to help me regarding this issue?

NB: the motor is running freely with no load and minimal torque required.
