Hi TI Expert
We are developing an electric water pump using a 48V BLDC motor (R = 0.019 ohm; L = 0.1 mH), delta-connected motor.
About the calculation of base current in the datasheet, it will be
BASE CURRENT = {1.5/(RSHUNT*CSA_GAIN)}
GD_CONFIG2 = BASE CURRENT * 32768 / 1200
When considering a wire-connected motor and a delta-connected motor with the same R for each phase resistor, the total current flowing in the motor will be three times greater when the same voltage is applied.

From this image I thinks above calculation of Base current is use for wye-connected motor.
So is the calculation change when I use delta-connected motor with the same R phase?
Thanks,
Thao N
