DRV8424: DRV8424 FW and layout question

Hi Expert,

My customer have swing machine and use competitor A4985. Now we have opportunity to replace by our DRV8428.

My customer is asking that if change solution from A4985 to DRV8428, can they keep same FW? Because they don’t have resource to re-design FW.

So customer prefer to re-layout only. Could you help us to check if our DRV8424 can support same FW?
