Part Number: DRV8303
Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project that involves controlling three BLDC motors, and I'm in need of a motor driver that meets the following requirements:
- 1-Channel PWM Control: The driver should be able to control the motor using a single PWM signal.
- Direction Control Input: It should have an input for changing the direction of the motor.
- Hall Sensor Inputs: The driver needs to handle commutation based on signals from Hall sensors.
- Current Measurement Output: It should measure the current and provide an output that can be read by a microcontroller.
- Speed Measurement Output: It should measure the motor speed and provide an output that can be read by a microcontroller.
So far, I’ve been using the IR2130, which requires 6 PWM channels and processes Hall sensor signals through my microcontroller. This setup uses too many I/O pins on the microcontroller, and I’m looking for a more integrated solution that simplifies the setup and reduces the number of required I/O pins.
I just found drivers, that measure the current or speed (like the DRV8303), but not both.
Does anyone know of a motor driver that can fulfill all these requirements? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
