DRV8849EVM: DRV8849EVM heat dissipation

Hello

I'm testing the DRV8849EVM to drive 2 stepper motors at full scale current 1.5A, provoking an fault on driver, not present if I use less current.

Afther mesuring temperature on chip, its over 100º before failing, I assume the problem is over temperature. my question is which is the better way to improve dissipation both for development board and for my design, if i chose this driver.
