Part Number:DRV8305
Hello TI Motor Driver Team,
I am currently using the DRV8305 to drive a motor. To turn any of the motor driver gates via (INHx or INLx) driven high to 3.3V I get the anticipated reaction on the GHx and GLx pins. However when I turn the motor off the nFAULT pin goes low. I have the driver configured as active freewheeling mode. After shutting off the motor I even tried turning on the lowside MOSFETs to force active freewheeling.
If I disconnect the motor and do the same exercise nFAULT remains high. Therefore the TI driver does not like something related to the shutoff of the motor. Do you have any recommendations on what could be the cause of this issue?
