DRV8814: Is it possible to gang the output of 2 channels together to increase the total current?

Hi Team,

My customer is currently using one channel of the DRV8814 to drive a DC motor.

At the moment, for the heaviest load the current is not enough.

Is it possible to gang the output of the 2 channels together to increase the total current?

If it is not possible, can you recommend another DC motor driver IC that can support up to a peak current of 5A. 

Please advise.
